GUEST FACULTY
  Prof. Peter Luethy Institute of Microbiology, ETH, Zurich, Switzerland is a regular visitor to school of biotechnology for nearly three months. He conducts theory and practical classes for microbiology and biotechnology students. He has helped develop a microbial technology for treatment of mosquito larvae which has been applied already in several countries in Africa. At KSBT also he is involved in research initiatives for development of Bacillus thuringiensis israilensis (BTI) based biopesticides against mosquito larvae in malaria endemic areas of Odisha. Large scale application of BTI in malaria endemic areas and villages in Odisha to control malaria outbreak is the main aim of this project.
  Prof. Klaus -Heinrich Röhm, Phillipps University Marburg, Institute of Physiologic Chemistry, Marburg, Germany visits the university for 2-3 months and conducts classes for enzyme engineering and drug designing. Also involved in research initiatives on Asparginase enzyme.
  Dr. Chandravanu  Dash National Institute of Health (NIH), Maryland, USA visits for 2-3 weeks for classes on HIV replication (Publications)
  Dr. Neel Sarovar Bhavesh ICGEB, New Delhi visits for 3 weeks for classes on spectroscopy (List of Publications)
  Dr. Debasish Dash IGIB, Delhi, India visits for 2 weeks for classes on bioinformatics
